Consenting bodies are public-administrative authorities that control, based on technical reports, the goods that will be imported or exported in order to guarantee the quality of the products for domestic consumers. The need for consent from regulatory bodies will depend on each product, in accordance with the Administrative Treatment of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature.
Here’s the list of Brazilian bodies that may appear as consenting parties in imports and exports:

- ANVISA (National Health Surveillance Agency)
- COMEXE (Army Command)
- DECEX (Foreign Operations Department)
- DPF (Federal Police Department)
- DNPM (National Department of Mineral Production)
- IBAMA (Brazilian Institute of Environment and Natural Resources)
- ANP (National Petroleum Agency)
- MAPA (Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply)
- MCTI (Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation)
- CNEN (National Nuclear Energy Commission)
- MD (Ministry of Defence)
- ANCINE (National Agency of Cinema)
- CNPQ (Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development)
- EBC (Brazilian Post and Telegraph Company)
- INMETRO (National Institute of Metrology, Standardization and Industrial Quality)
- SUFRAMA (Manaus Free-trade Zone Authority)
Among them, the most active agencies in import operations are: ANVISA, MAPA e INMETRO.
